Laptops needed in Papua New Guinea
HOPE
worldwide
(Australia) urgently needs used but serviceable laptops to send to support education and health work in Papua New Guinea.
These desperately needed laptops will be used by the 80 staff of HOPE worldwide (PNG), which run a variety of health, education and agriculture programs (see
www.hopewwpng.org.pg
).
Dr Graham Ogle, Country Director of HOPE
worldwide
(Australia) commented, ‘‘HOPE can organise all transport to Papua New Guinea, anyone with a laptop in any of the capital cities in Australia only needs to tell us where they can be picked up from and we can handle the logistics.”‘
The laptops need to be working and have a USB port and operating system, and at least 512 MB of RAM and at least a 20 GB hard disk. Microsoft Office and anti-virus area a bonus but we are happy to take them without this.’
Companies or individuals wanting to donate used laptops are asked to telephone HOPE
worldwide
(Australia) on 02 9868 1980, or e-mail Graham_Ogle@hopeww.org.
